that's my energy level when time hit 7 this evening.

physically and mentally tired, i guess.
skipped Ronnie's and came home.

got worse after dinner, totally hit the zombie mode, slightly better after a cold shower, but hitting the sack soon after i am done with this entry.

just feel like typing something tonight, to burn some battery level of this wireless keyboard, i think wireless products are cool, they make the space really neat and tidy, and they save you the troubles of finding ways to hide those irritating cables/wires and whatever shits, well, creativity does need to compromise sometimes i guess, but i ain't going that deep tonight.

it shall be a lighthearted entry, haha.

3% actually happened to my phone last week, when i was on the way home and Whatsapping with this red lady, i was kinda panic and worried, because i know it wouldn't last long, and a good conversation shouldn't be ended this way when it just started with a good few lines of texts, but unfortunately, it died immediately when i boarded the train, fantastic, precise timing, for a second i thought my phone is gifted, damn it hit the timing so well.

i am not sure if you're reading this, if you are, thanks for the inspiration of naming this entry, and also indicating my energy level of today, hope Sophistication has been set up well and running.

it's part of the story, and what was expressed on the paper, was what i had for her.

the pig sent me this via MSN, i was pretty surprised and shocked after reading it, it is actually quite an old blog post which i posted 3 years ago, when she secretly flew back from UK after she finished her study, and planned to give her beloved ones a huge surprise, how sweet it is. ")

and after 3 years, now, the both of them are still together, in fact they are engaged to each other, happiness to the max, and living happily ever after, sometimes their relationship is like a tale to me, like one of the movies you watch, somehow unreal, but truth shows their happiness, well, kind people like them deserve such reward i guess. ")

i seriously never think that anyone would actually copy my entry, and save it in their computer, for, future reference? haha, i don't know, and it's so out of the blue.

i thought i deleted everything, yes, i shut down this blog once, all the entries i posted in 4 years time are wiped clean, but one stays.

how funny that you thought you have deleted everything but somehow, some of them stay, because of some reasons, it's just like when you think you are already out of something, but in fact, one of your legs is still inside kind of thing.

so ridiculous, and so ironic.

TBG 2010 last night was a blast, all the dance crews were dope and presented us sick performances, all the peeps went crazy and high when Quest Crew, the Champion of American Best Dance Crew in Season 3, threw us their sick ass nasty moves and dance routines on the stage, to be honest, they killed it, totally.

WOW.

it's really an awesome experience, sitting at the 2nd row from the stage, so close, to feel their passion of doing what they love, to admire how good they are, to learn from them.

what a blessing, isn't it?

but sad enough, things often go side way, off the track, to come back on track again, some people spend a very long time, struggle, suffer, doubt, some, even give up all, because they can't stand the blows and falls.

it's been mad crazy days for me, non-stop of photoshoots, getting props, design executions, meetings, and planning.

trust me, it's tiring, and i seriously hope it will come to an end soon, at least some free time for me to digest, think, and go through things that i have been taking in, it has really reached the extent which i feel like throwing out during the progress. 0_o

i know it's part of the working life, being busy and some bad times, but it yucks a lot, it would be ideal that at least there are some people who are with you, getting things done together and helps to minimize the suffers, but sadly, the current place doesn't offer me this.

what to do? accept the fact, buck up, chin up and fight alone, and sometimes i will ask Dark Mocha or McD for some motivations, of cos they do help, but sometimes things just get pretty nasty that they don't help at all, despite the huge amount i consume.

i should seriously consider a 2nd career, but no answer has yet to be found, not even a clue, or maybe i am not being serious enough about it. "/

i guess i am in the stage again, whereby i just want to take a break, away from the daily work routine, get some inspiring impacts and rest as much as i can.

or maybe it's just an execuse for myself to escape from whatever that i am not comfortable with.

few years back, i chanced upon a video on Youtube, it's about this dance crew in the States who always performs/dances with their mask on, they are the Jabbawockeez, they are also the Champion of the first season of American Best Dance Crew.

since then, i've become a big fan of them, keep following their updates, searching for their latest videos and also trying to be inspired by them as much as possible, without watching the video few years back, i guess i wouldn't be dancing so much and so into it.

i think in Dance, it has so many things that we can learn from within, not only the skills, basics, it also requires the knowledge, the right attitude, and the way you see/treat it to improve further, and seriously you can truly experience that nothing comes easy, you've got to put in a lot of effort and hard work in order to just get a simple basic step right.

aside of keeping myself physically healthy and fit, it makes me process my thoughts and point of view differently too.

been very eventful for the past one month, trip to Phuket, dance events, birthday celebrations and work, till now i am still wondering how did i survive, it was super tiring, but i had a lot of fun and learnt a lot from the great people around me, i feel that i am lucky, and certainly i am very very grateful for having such opportunities to go through those awesome/happening events.

was too tired last week, and some funny and embarrassing incidents happened when i was trying to keep myself awake while chatting with my friends and doing my daily routine stuff.

incident 01 - AA sms me about one of the upcoming event, I Am The System of Awakening - Choreographer's Ball, because he needed to confirm if i got the ticket already, when i was replying him, instead of "Choreographer", i typed "Horrorgrapher", luckily i noticed that and corrected, if not, i guess AA will be horrified, LOL, damn, seriously, i didn't know what i was thinking when i was typing that.

incident 02 - after incident 01, i was rushing for a deadline, and desperately needed this font called Dax, so i asked around to see if any of them would happen to have it installed in their comp, so i buzzed Y on msn, and asked her about it, first line from me was already super duper wrong, it goes, "Y, can i trouble you for a sex?" WTF, sex?! LOL, instead of "sec", i typed "sex", FML, if she is someone who isn't a close friend of mine, she would have blocked and deleted me on msn already, got a print screen of that chat, see below, haha, i am really really sorry about that Y. "_

incident 03 - one day, when i was on the way to work, instead of alighting at Dhoby Ghaut, i alighted at Outram Park (i guess i miss my previous work place too much, lol), when taking train back to Dhoby Ghaut from the other direction, i missed it again and when i realised, i was at Potong Pasir already (i guess i wanted to go home just for a rest desperately), oh well, i didn't know what was on my mind on that day either. "/

incident 04 - during lunch, i queued for chicken rice, when it was my turn, i ordered Char Kuih Teow, yes, i did, and the fellow gave me a super annoyed/pissed look and totally ignored me, i said sorry and ordered my chicken rice, best part is, after i paid and took my change, i didn't wait for my chicken rice and walked away, the same fellow yelled at me, "OI! your chicken rice ah!", so loud that almost everyone in the food court stopped and looked at us to see what happened, super duper embarrassing.

i guess i was really too tired that my brain refused to function anymore, seriously i felt that i wasn't thinking most of the time, just zonked out totally, whenever i was out of the studio.

funny, embarrassed moments.

but please, rest well when you can, work is just work, you need to have some personal time for yourself too, maybe i could be wrong, but hey, don't be so serious all the time, chill, life's short. ;)

how have you all been?

these few weeks have been crazy for me, rushing for deadlines, then they got pushed, rushed for them, then got pushed again, seriously, i don't really like it, hope that i can get over it soon so i can focus on other stuff, but on the other hand, it's definitely one good news, because we can refine further whatever we've done so far, to turn the ideas/visuals more impactful/practical so that we stand higher chance to win the pitches, oh well, it's good, i believe.

but my work station in the studio has been a bitch to me, it has become very nasty, anytime the Illustrator will corrupt my file, wipe off everything, makes me redo from scratch again, and it happened twice in two days, wtf, it's not a joke, the level of morale can be brought down to zero, trust me, i've been through that, i just wish that it can be upgraded, or replace it with the latest iMac, fingers crossed, else, i will smash the machine and everything when it happens to me again, i swear i will.

on top of that, i need to take care of other ongoing stuff, tiring, restless, that's why i haven't been updating my blog, except some minor updates on Twitter (if you were following me), overall, quite eventful since i come back from my CNY break, i should be grateful, despite how busy i am. ")

managed to meet up with the sweet couple to discuss about our itenary for the Phuket trip, gonna get the accommodation settled soon, one more month, woohoo, i will make sure i get super tanned. "D

S is back in Singapore! one of my Dutch friends flew here for holidays with his brother, met up with him and the other heroes just now, it was great catching up with him, it has been 2 years plus after he finished his intern with us and went back to Holland, man... just realised that so many things has happened and changed in 2 years, common friends got married, all the heroes left the previous company, some landscape has changed, so on and so forth, and we recalled some real funny party moments during his stay here last time, it was really fun, happy, and definitley one good night to spend with them. ")

anyways, i think i should get my Mac tomorrow.

it's always happy to see friends who i care about the most receiving surprises, good and happy one of cos, looking at them being stoned, speechless, or shy, i know that deep inside their heart, they are touched and grateful.

there was one for my best buddy just now, a birthday celebration for his 30th, planned and arranged by his wife who is expecting, how sweet. ")

this best buddy of mine, too much to say about, 17 years already since i know him, and still going, best in my life, and tell me where to get this priceless gift in life.

he is now a married man, wife is a nice and sweet lady, with a son to be born mid of this year, stable career in a bank, own a sheltered place to stay and a car to go around, i am really glad and happy for him, he is the man, always set goals and strive for them, that's why i always look up to him, i bet most of you all don't know that he is the one who inspired me to pick up art and creative, and do it as a living. ")

perhaps i am really selling chicken rice/pirated DVDs now if i didn't know him 17 years ago. haha.

Fate always plays a big part, i strongly believe in that, because it's tested and proven on me, many times.

anyways, it is indeed one of the happiest things which happened lately. ")

been pretty busy lately, with Festive mood.
i love CNY. ")

as usual, need to do lots of shopping for the folks, time spent to get some stuff aside my other commitments, and it's really tiring to rush for a few places with handful of stuff, utmost respect to my mum who always does most of the shopping for us, still can't figure why ladies are so capable of shopping the whole day, non-stop, where does the energy come from? always amuses me without fail (guys feel tired or worn out easily because they are the one who carry whatever it is for the ladies, arh... perhaps that explains).

didn't get much stuff for myself, but the level of happiness went up to the max when i saw my Skytop and got home the fair ladies, they look freaking gorgeous, and sexy too.

weather isn't friendly these days, hoping it will calm down during CNY, not that i want to put on AJ hoodie, but i don't want to perspire and feeling sticky all the time when i am gambling and wet my note or whatever, such weather during CNY, sucks big time, but again, best timing to down some Heineken, woo... smooth and cooling...

i have encountered such incident since i started to wear watch again, and find it quite amusing and funny. ")

the first watch i wore was bought when i was in Taipei, from a very small shop located in one of the famous night markets, it costs about S$10, funny thing is, when friends saw it, they started to question me what brand it is, how much it is, where to get etc, because they thought it was some branded watch and it looked like some expensive stuff (really?)

but it was just a S$10 watch, and eventually it was drowned and died in a swimming pool during one of the parties, lol.

after it sacrificed (for the push-into-the-pool), i went to search around to get a replacement, i bet you all have seen those stalls which set up along the corridor in most shopping malls, selling phone cases, accessories, watches and stuff, and i bought the replacement from one of the stalls, this time, it costs me S$14, i would say this watch is slightly special, as you need to press one of the buttons to display the time and date (i find it quite troublesome sometimes when both my hands are carrying things and need to know what time it is, and it is something redundant to have).

but same thing happened, some of them don't even believe when i told them the truth, and the funniest of all is, i was getting my Frap Mocha at Starbucks just now, after i paid, the lady at the cashier passed me the receipt and asked me what brand is my watch, i was kinda surprised because it was so unexpected, so i told her it doesn't have a brand name, then she started to asked me where i got it, how much and stuff, and she was so surprised that i actually got it from the stall outside Cold Storage at the basement, LOL.

this is so freaking funny and i was laughing so hard inside.

probably it's a sign telling me not to spend on the Fossil that i have been eyeing for long, because cheap watch on me helps to get attention, LOL.

i understand sometimes shit happens, and i am cool with that most of the time, at least i never shout at the others, flip the table, or "fuck" like nobody business.

but i think i am being too nice, that most people take it for granted, then they would tend to have full control in any matter and run it in their preferred default manner.

where is the mutual respect then? i ask.

ironically, oneself who can't even communicate clearly behaves like a superior and show this "hey, listen to me" face, listen to you? 5 sentences, 100 words from you, i can summarize it in just 1 sentence, 7 words and any tom dick and harry understands, how's that? want a full control and act like a big boss? please learn how to express yourself well in front of a mirror.

and don't tell me how should i dig my shit, hey look, i know my shit well, you just stay there and concentrate on how to plant your orchid, a 3 months servicing person versus a 6 years designer, i understand you had been in my field before, but for christ sake you don't even know a single thing of my background, and you dare to teach me how to dig my shit with a pot? how arrogant you are.

i lost my eazylink card (which i just topped up $40) and office access card, spent $15 to get a new eazylink card and getting prepared to be fined for the lost of the access card, on top of these, my pc gets bitchy again after i moved her like a few inches away from the previous place.
